Renting a vehicle in a foreign country is often a process defined by friction: physical paperwork, passport deposits, and "old-school" manual handovers. For RentLab, our goal was to dismantle these barriers. We built the first fully digital, human-centric motorbike rental platform in Southeast Asia, turning a complex logistical chore into a 5-minute mobile experience.

The "Zero-Friction" Flow: We integrated a secure, AI-driven identity verification system (Veriff) that allows users to verify their ID and sign contracts digitally. No more handing over physical passports or waiting in lines.
The Smart Hardware Bridge: One of the project's highlights is the Smart Self-Pickup System. We synced the web platform with physical smart lockers. Once a booking is confirmed, the system automatically generates a unique access code, allowing users to pick up their keys 24/7 without needing a staff member on-site.
A Personal Concierge in Your Pocket: Beyond the booking, we developed an intuitive user dashboard where travelers can extend their rentals in three clicks, manage payments via Apple/Google Pay, and access 24/7 support
